By creating a Shopify account or using our services, you agree to our Terms of Service.

Shopify is your all-in-one commerce platform, built to help you:

Build and customize your online store

Sell across web, mobile, social media, and marketplaces

Manage inventory, payments, shipping, and marketing

Connect with customers and grow your brand

All new features will also be subject to these terms.

1. Account Terms
When you sign up for a Shopify account:

You must be at least 18 years old or the legal age in your region

Shopify is for business use only—not for personal or non-commercial use

Your Primary Email Address will be used for all official communication

You're responsible for your password security

Only registered users receive technical support

You may not reproduce, sell, or misuse the service without written consent

Bots, scrapers, and automated access tools are prohibited

Your content may be transmitted unencrypted across various networks

2. Account Activation
Store Owner:
The individual or company who creates the account is the Store Owner and holds full responsibility for it.

Staff Accounts:
Some plans include Staff Accounts with limited access. The Store Owner remains responsible for all staff activity.

Payment Accounts:
Shopify may set up default payment gateways (e.g., PayPal) during sign-up. You can change or deactivate these anytime.
